Description
RIGHT Programme Oxford:
A support network for chairs of governors
The Power of Three:
Working with your clerk and headteacher
The Right Programme Oxford offers chairs and vice chairs a solid and consistent network to enable collaborative working and peer support. This event will provide an opportunity to focus on how we can ensure we have the RIGHT teams to provide effective governance in our schools.
On this occasion we welcome Kate Pengelly, Ruth Lockwood and Sarah Grier – chair of governors, clerk and headteacher – from St Mary’s C of E Infant School in Witney who will be helping us consider how we can best use these roles to lead an even more efficient and effective governing body.
The evening will also provide an opportunity to discuss:
- Key learning from the RIGHT Programme web tool
- How chairs can seek support and sustain good practice
- How an effective team can support and deliver their school’s Christian vision
The RIGHT Programme Oxford web resource is available free of charge to all chairs/vice chairs and aspiring chairs from schools within the Oxford Diocese who are part of the SLA.
There is a charge for this event of £10 per delegate or £20 for up to three delegates from the same school. Schools outside of the SLA can book places at a cost of £20 (£15 for each further delegate from the same school) subject to availability. All prices plus VAT.
